Our Story

Welcome to Kidsthrift Market! My name is Kaitlyn and I am one of the partners who founded Kidsthrift Market. Being a mom of two girls, I know how expensive everything can be - from buying new clothes, toys, beds, diapers, food, you name it.

Kids grow out of things so quickly, and they lose interest in toys. I saw how in just my family, we were going through things so quickly and if everyone with kids did that, we'd have a significant impact on the environment.

While donating can be useful, you're not sure if they are going to toss it into the landfill if no one buys it, and it doesn't allow you to recoup costs. I have personally been exclusively thrifting clothing for myself for three years now and I wanted to find a way to do that for my kids as well. Thus, the idea for Kidsthrift Market came to life. While there were platforms out there that allowed you to sell and buy kids items, there wasn't one that was just for that - and I felt like as a consumer it was hard to sort through for kids. Myself and my business partner created this marketplace to give parents an easy way to sort and filter for just kids items. We hope you love it.
